Monday Morning

I’ve decided to use one of the spare bedrooms as an office. It still needs stuff on the walls but not sure what yet.

Snowy Weekend

Look at all the snow that fell this weekend! Also, my furniture came in today so I will be rescheduling my birthday party along with maybe anyone else who has one in January sometime very soon. For more snow pix click here.

Snow

What an awesome birthday present from my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ! So since they don’t really have any snow removing equipment down here in the south, I wonder what happens if I want a pizza delivered…

Happy New Year!

I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and a safe New Year’s eve. I was down in Savannah for the most part and had my phone turned off. Thanks for all the text/voice messages!

So what’s up with my empty living room? Well, Macy’s kept pushing back the delivery of my couch (the past 2-3 deliveries had all been damaged) so I just canceled the order and they came by to pick it up. I special ordered a new one from Haverty’s though that should be arrive in 3 weeks. The only downside to this is that I’m no longer having my party on January 19th, much apologies! I’ll keep ya’ll updated after I get situated.

MonetizeIt Christmas Party ‘07

I hope everyone is getting ready for Christmas and bought all their presents. For those that haven’t, it’s too late for online ordering, good luck at the malls!

Tonight after work we all went to Phillips Arena to watch the Miami Heat take on the Atlanta Hawks. The company got us a suite and we all had a blast just hanging out. Amy was my unofficial photographer for most of the evening and we had a ton of fun going around taking pictures. For more click here.

Earlier in the day I picked up Shiny Toy Guns’ latest CD and man it is HOT. Speaking of music I have decided on my song of the year. It’s “Glory in the Highest” by Chris Tomlin. I’m not sure if it even came out this year or last but the first time I ever heard it was at Passion ‘07 way back in January. After a full year, it is still #1, bumping “Blessed Be Your Name” by Tree 63 off as my favorite song of all time.

Louder Than Creation

What’s up everybody, I apologize for not updating in awhile, I’ve just been sooo busy with so many different things. I hope everyone had a happy Thanksgiving. Mine was quite relaxing, even did some Black Friday shopping early online that entire week thanks to some incredible finds from http://www.bfads.net. After reading a ton of different GPS reviews, I finally I picked up a Garmin 680 for only $500 (regular $800) on Thursday. I also picked up a beautiful 24″ iMac from the Apple store on Black Friday after they took off $101. Then after this cool bed I bought from By Design for the 2nd guest bedroom amongst a bunch of other little things I’ve bought for the house, I completely maxed out my Discover Card.

On the church front, Andy’s been doing an incredible series called “It’s Personal” on having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. For those not having Christ in their lives, he made great analogy comparing it to getting married. You might have a ton of different questions, obstacles or even a list you would make before you get married but in the end you do it anyway out of love. Today he talked about how Abraham believed in God when everything around him might have told him otherwise. In the end Abraham was blessed beyond his wildest dreams and we are who we are today thanks to his simple faith.

Afterwards we had a little luncheon provided by the Church for all the Sunday school volunteers. The food was incredible as always and at the end of it everyone received a “Louder than Creation” CD by the North Point band which had just come out. I was thinking of buying it too! I’m listening to it right now and it’s pretty good. “Son of God” by Todd Fields is my fave track on it so far.

Speaking of Sunday school, one of my kids Tyler is extremely sick. He’s been in the hospital for a few weeks now and is in constant pain. The doctors have almost figured out what’s wrong but please keep him in your prayers.

Bee Movie

Tonight I took Kyle out to see this and was thoroughly entertained. Just like Jerry Seinfeld’s tv show, this movie too was completely stupid and about nothing at all. It’s great to watch a movie once in awhile where you don’t actually have to think or do any work and the movie simply entertains you as it’s supposed to. I would have to say it was fully worth the price of my inflated ticket. Speaking of, I just earned myself a free one from using my Regal movie card!

West Haven

I spent the morning driving around the town I grew up in. Around lunchtime I was kind of hungry and was near the church I went to back then, First Congregational Church. It just so happens they serve free lunch every Monday from 1-2 so that worked out great. For more photos of West Haven click here.

Knicks Home Opener

It was my first time ever at the world’s most famous arena, Madison Square Garden. The experience was everything it was hyped up to be and more. I also maintain my perfect record, whenever I attend a Knicks game with a Press Pass the Knicks never lose, this time winning 97-93 over the Timberwolves. Since I am not allowed to take photos with my pass I had my cousin take all the pictures, click here for more.

Connecticut

On Thursday morning my awesome friend Kyle dropped me off at the North Springs MARTA station and I flew in to NY. My cousin picked me up and took me back to his place in CT. So far it’s been a blast catching up with old friends. The above is the tail end of a party one of my best friends from back in the day threw.
